Trained as primary care physicians, they have practiced integrative and functional medicine for 8+ years. Drs. Mizera and Lieske have rooted their careers on a philosophy that goes beyond conventional care: combining the precision of modern medicine with evidence-based nutrition, exercise, sleep, and lifestyle optimization.
Together, they opened their private practice in 2018 and continue to see patients there today — and when the opportunity arose to join IV Nutrition in the Scottsdale community in 2019, it was a natural extension of everything they already stand for.
Dr. Kimberlyn Mizera serves as Medical Director of IV Nutrition Scottsdale, providing an exceptional level of oversight that sets the clinic apart. As a full-time, on-site physician, Dr. Kimberlyn ensures that every patient interaction is grounded in clinical safety, individualized care, and medical best practices. In 2024, Gwen joined IV Nutrition as Clinic Director, channeling that same rigor into proactive, personalized wellness. Many of our treatments are considered elective wellness services and are typically not covered by insurance providers. By operating on a self-pay model, we’re able to offer transparent pricing, flexible scheduling, and a more personalized experience without the limitations of insurance requirements.
